Anticheats
Cheats alter the code of the games. For this reason, they often get falsely detected as malicious files even though they are completely harmless. If you keep your antivirus enabled, it will block and delete the cheat files.
If you want to keep your defender / antivirus enabled, you can also create a folder with all your cheats and exclude that in your antivirus settings from getting scanned.
This does however not always work as cheat files sometimes download other files into other directories which are necessary to run the cheat correctly. It depends on the cheat you are using.
Go to windows search and search for "virus & threat protection."
The windows security window should appear.
Disable all options in this window.
NOTE: If you restart your PC real time protection will turn itself back on.
In order to permanently disable it you can use the dcontrol file in the cheat download folder.
You can always enable it back as well.
Mc Afee , Malwarebytes , Norton , Kaspersky or any other antivirus
If you have one of those antiviruses installed, you have to disable their protection or make an exclusion as mentioned earlier.
However sometimes they can still block the cheats.
It's best to completely uninstall these programs.
Disable Fast-Boot
Open your system configuration (press Win+R -> type msconfig -> press enter)
Navigate to the "Services" tab
Check the "Hide all Microsoft services" box
Search the list for: Easy Anti-Cheat, BattlEye etc.
Uncheck the services that are anti-cheats
Click apply
Restart your PC
Valorant (Riot Vanguard), ESEA, FaceIT:
For Riot Vanguard, ESEA, and FaceIT, you will need to go into your Apps & Programs in Windows settings to uninstall it fully. They are very invasive and will block the driver from loading.
